Home & On-Location Portrait Photography
Relaxed. Natural. Thoughtfully crafted.
Some of the best photographs happen where people feel most themselves — at home, in familiar places, or out in the landscape they love.
My home and on-location portrait sessions are designed to be unhurried and relaxed, focusing on natural moments, honest expression, and clean, timeless images. Whether it’s your home, garden, favourite beach, or a quiet corner of the Island, the aim is simple: photographs that feel real and last well beyond the moment they’re taken.
I work with natural light, and on-location studio style lighting when needed, keeping the experience calm and the results consistent. No stiff posing, no pressure - just carefully observed, well-crafted portraits.

Why Home & Location?
Shooting in familiar or meaningful places allows portraits to feel more personal and less staged. Whether that’s the quiet comfort of home or the open space of the Island’s coastline, location becomes part of the story - not a distraction from it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a session last?
Most home or on-location sessions last around 60–90 minutes. This allows plenty of time to work at a relaxed pace without feeling rushed.
Where do the shoots take place?
Sessions can take place in your home, garden, or at a chosen outdoor location on the Isle of Wight. If you’re unsure where to shoot, I’m happy to suggest locations that suit your style and the kind of images you’re looking for.
What should we wear?
Simple, neutral tones tend to photograph best. Avoid strong logos or very busy patterns where possible. I’m happy to offer light guidance ahead of the session if you’d like help choosing outfits.
Do you pose us?
I’ll guide you gently where needed, but the focus is on natural movement and relaxed moments, not stiff or overly posed images. The aim is for the photos to feel like you.
When will we receive our photos?
Your online viewing gallery will usually be ready within 2–3 weeks of the session. From there, you’ll be able to select your included images and any additional photos or prints.
What size is the framed print?
The framed print included in the package is a professionally produced standard-size frame, with an 12''x9'' print on high quality photo paper. Larger sizes and different finishes are available as optional extras once you’ve seen your images.

Yes. You can add:

Extra framed prints from £65
There’s no obligation to purchase extras — you choose only what you love.
What if the weather is bad?
If we’re shooting outdoors and the weather isn’t on our side, we can reschedule or adjust the plan. The Isle of Wight light changes quickly, and flexibility is built into the process.
